Customer Challenge
To help reduce the cost of consumers' bills, the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) set higher performance benchmarks for energy suppliers. In response, a government-owned multi-utility supplying power and water asked Enzen to help transform its operations in readiness.
The AER required the customer, which had become subject to national rather than regional regulatory standards, to reduce overall expenditure by 15% and service interruptions by 18% per year. Improvements were also expected in customer service (by 21%) and health and safety (by 10%).

This was combined with a series of practical tools to improve the client’s long-term performance, without compromising reliability, customer satisfaction or health and safety.
