Creative school pupils across the West Midlands are being applauded for their excellent work in imagining the smart cities of the future, as our 2022 Mission: Sustainability finalists are announced.
Now in its third year, Mission: Sustainability sees Enzen knowledge practitioners share their energy and water expertise with pupils aged 8 to 15 as part of their science learning modules, then set them challenges themed on making our planet a cleaner and healthier place to live for future generations.
Coinciding with British Science Week in March, the programme saw schools across the West Midlands tackle three different sustainability challenges around the theme of 'Building the Smart Cities of the Future', with entries judged by senior leaders in Enzen.
The shortlisted pupils are below. The first, second, third and highly commended places in each category will be announced in July when certificates are presented to pupils, before the overall top three ‘Best of the Best’ winners are announced and cash prizes awarded to schools.
