The semi-final of Enzen's first-ever worldwide open innovation competition takes place in Bengaluru, India, this week.
The Innovation for Sustainable Development was launched in June 2018. Its purpose is to seek ideas and solutions from the best minds around the world to address the growing challenges our planet faces in energy, water and the environment.
The competition has attracted 690 entries from researchers, academics, students and entrepreneurs, each one submitting their ideas themed around our ‘Transformation into a Sustainable Environment’. Only 27 of the very best teams were selected for the two-day semi-final stage.
Taking place on 27-28 February in Bengalaru, the event will be a truly international one, with teams coming from Asia, Africa, Australia, Europe, Central and North America to pitch their ideas to a panel of esteemed industry experts, who will ultimately choose three winning teams.
Enzen experts will then mentor the winners, incubating their ideas at our research facilities in India or the UK, assessing the best way to take these models to market.
