Already valued for helping transform our customers’ organisations, Alexandra de Marichalar has now been celebrated for the stellar example she sets to young women in Spain.
The Senior Manager in the Energy Advisory team has been named by Business Insider Spain as one of 29 women under the age of 35 who are excelling themselves in the country’s technology, finance, start-ups, politics and engineering sectors.
The financial and business website recognised the women for ‘breaking barriers and glass ceilings on their own merit’, and for rising to influential positions within their companies and industries.
After graduating with a Master’s degree in Industrial and Electrical Engineering from Madrid’s Polytechnic University, Alexandra has worked in a variety of energy sector roles in Norway, Sweden and Spain.
Her experience includes a role with a start-up company specialising in offshore wind technology, a spell as project manager for GE’s Oil and Gas division and tenures with DNV-GL and Viesgo.
A member of Aemener, the Spanish Association of Women of Energy, Alexandra is now an invaluable member of the Enzen Spain team in Madrid, helping to deliver innovative renewable solutions for customers in Iberia and Latin America.
