Enzen Australia knowledge practitioner Grant Chorvat has been named 2020 Professional Engineer of the Year for the Northern Territory by Engineers Australia.
Grant received the honour for his commitment and achievements to driving innovation, sustainability and opportunities within his profession. He will now compete against fellow regional winners for the national prize on November 9th.
Passionate about using his knowledge and experience of renewable solutions, Grant is committed to helping Enzen play its part in ensuring a net zero future in Australia. An Enzenite since May this year, Grant is an electrical engineer by profession and Associate Director for Energy Systems in our Australia business. He specialises in designing and implementing future grids, and is currently supporting one of our utility customers to deliver this type of solution in Alice Springs.
“My current role at Enzen enables me to influence future grid and future hydrogen technologies,” said Grant. “I love making things work – and working with others to do so – and want to help accelerate Australia’s response to climate change. I’m a passionate believer in the power of renewables and the combined skills and knowledge of engineers to build a better world for future generations.”
